UK Independence Party - Stourbridge branch

Propective Parliamentry Candidate

Thursday 20th November 2008

Edward Sidall Jones

Edward Siddall-Jones BSc (Hons)

Edward was accepted as the UKIP candidate for Stourbridge in September 2007. His decision to join the party was down to his frustration with the current government. He is concerned that Britain has lost control over its decision making and strives for Britain to once again rule itself.

He is troubled by the current lack of control over immigration and believes in works permits for foreign workers. He is also in opposition to the introduction of the euro currency.

Edward grew up in Hagley and attended Haybridge High School, followed by Haybridge Sixth Form.
After completing his A levels Edward then attended the University of the West of England in Bristol where he studied Business in Property: an honours degree accredited by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.

He currently works for Nattrass Giles, a firm of chartered surveyors and commercial property consultants based in Birmingham. Edward works within the agency department and specialise in the sale of Brownfield land for development projects.

He still lives in Hagley and is aged 24.
